Six concerts in four days: the intimate charm of the Mus festival

In the village temple, a dazzling selection of interpreters for a mix of classics and contemporary creations.

In the intimacy of the temple and with a brilliant selection of interpreters, the Mus classical music festival has a particular charm.

The Chamber musicians are back to accompany six concerts, blending historical pieces with contemporary creations. The cycle starts this Thursday, April 9th at 8:00 pm with a recital by harpist Anaïs Gaudemard featuring works by Juliusz Karcz, Claude Debussy, Karol Beffa, and Evgeny Golubev. On Friday, April 10th at 8:00 pm, the harpist will be joined by flutist Philippe Bernold to perform pieces by Henriette Renié and Mozart.

On Saturday, April 11th at 11:00 am, the duo will open the day with a Concertant focusing on works by Bach, Gluck, Granval, and Bartok. At 6:00 pm, pianist Marie Carrière will present a concert with contemporary variations by Jean-Philippe Bauermeister, Mozart and Prokofiev sonatas, and Brahms’ Rhapsodies.

A new musical aperitif on Sunday, April 12th at 11:00 am, with violinists Girolamo Bottiglieri and Cécile Carrière performing pieces by Prokofiev, Bartok, Ysaÿe, and Berio before the grand finale concert at 6:00 pm. The two violinists, with Frédéric Carrière on viola, David Poro on cello, and Doruntina Guralumi on bassoon will play works by Beethoven, Gernot Wolfgang, Camille Saint-Saëns, Shostakovich, and Nino Rota.
