For fifteen years, Natasha Archer lived and worked in the shadow of Prince William and Kate Middleton, serving as their personal assistant since 2010. She first worked for the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, then for William and Harry, before exclusively assisting William and Kate after their engagement announcement. In the summer of 2025, she left this dream job to start her own luxury consultancy firm.
In an interview with the Telegraph, 44-year-old Natasha Archer reflected on her journey with the royal couple, supporting them through every significant milestone, both joyful (marriages and births) and challenging (Covid-19 pandemic and illness). Described as an “outstanding collaborator” by the newspaper, she was often seen in the background during official trips and important public appearances.
Behind the scenes, Natasha managed William and Kate’s schedules and projects, also serving as their advisor and confidante. However, she was mostly known to the public as the unofficial stylist for the Princess of Wales, despite finding it “frustrating” to be pigeonholed into that role.
Natasha Archer fondly remembers her “Welsh years,” stating that her role encompassed much more than styling, similar to what she offers now with her consultancy work. She emphasized her unique competence in providing support beyond traditional styling, including administrative assistance.
While Natasha maintains a level of discretion regarding her relationship with William and Kate, it is evident that she was very close to the latter. Discretion is a guiding principle in her field, contributing to her excellent reputation. She shared with the Telegraph that working with the Wales was an “extraordinary privilege and a precious memory,” expressing gratitude for the friendships formed during that time.
