On April 7, 2026, the LGBTQIA+ festival known as “Ciné Friendly” will be held in the cinema halls of Omnia République in Rouen from April 8 to April 11, 2026. Organized by the association Pix’m, this event aims to explore cultural spaces with a focus on issues related to sexual minorities, boasting a rich program this year with a strong emphasis on music and a feel-good atmosphere.
For the ninth iteration, the festival is showcasing a more diverse range of themes in the films presented, according to Stéphane Merlet, the president of Pix’m association. This year, the festival features two films in advance screenings. The president also reveals a lineup filled with smiles and no drama, promising a lighthearted experience for the attendees.
The complete program includes a variety of films scheduled for each day, such as “Chuck chuck baby,” “Maspalomas,” “Habibi, Chanson pour mes ami.e.s,” “Helen Tresor transnational,” “The Best friend,” “Vivre et laisser vivre la voix de Jackie Shan,” and “Lesbian space princess.” The festival will culminate in the audience voting for the People’s Choice Award on Saturday, April 11.
