Married since July 28, 2018, they became parents of a little Valentin in November 2019, born through surrogacy in the United States. The beginning of the relationship between Christophe Beaugrand and Ghislain Gerin was not so obvious. In 2024, in an interview with Paris Match, the host of Secret Story revealed the truth about their meeting, which was kept secret for a long time. “It was pretended for a long time that it was among mutual friends, but in reality, it was on an app. Ten years ago, it was not yet common, so it was more difficult to admit,” he explained. Another element that could have compromised their story was their age difference. “He was 21, I was 33, so I had my doubts. Then I realized that he was older than me in his references,” he confessed. This was added to a complicated personal period for the host, who did not see himself building a lasting relationship anymore. “I was at a moment in my life where I had been in a long-term relationship and had been single for five or six years. I was trying to meet people, it wasn’t working, and I had kind of given up.
