More than a year after her victory in Star Academy 2024, everything is going well for Marine. After a successful first album, “Cœur maladroit” – which reached over 100,000 copies sold in January 2026 – and her baptism of fire at the Enfoirés concert, the 25-year-old artist excels in every aspect. While her professional life is in full swing, her love life is also flourishing.

Following exclusive revelations from Voici magazine about her relationship with 33-year-old guitarist Jeoffrey Dandy, whom she met at the Dammarie-les-Lys castle, Marine has finally opened up about her tender relationship. As a guest on Thomas Isle’s Europe 1 radio show to promote the reissue of her album, the singer of “Ma faute” breaks the silence on her new love.

“After presenting her latest song, Escroc, discussing her doubts and a certain imposter syndrome, Thomas Isle asked the famous question, highlighted by our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs: ‘Can I ask you a slightly indiscreet question?’ To this, the Star Academy 2024 winner replied simply, ‘Yes’.”

“Are you in love right now?” the host continued. After a laugh from Marine, studio guest Anissa Haddadi added, “No, but he didn’t ask who it is about. It’s a bit indiscreet.” After these exchanges, Marine eventually admitted, “I am, yes.” Accustomed to a certain modesty, the artist seems ready to reveal her innermost thoughts.

In addition to her blossoming love life, Marine also opened up about her doubts, particularly her imposter syndrome. “You write: ‘I don’t know how to say thank you when someone says I’m pretty’,” explained Thomas Isle before adding, “I find you increasingly beautiful, Marine.” After a sincere “Thank you” from the artist followed by laughter, the young woman continued, “It happened to me often when I was in a relationship. Often the person compliments me but I don’t know how to take it.” It remains to be seen if she can accept the sweet words from her lover.

The singer continued, “It’s something that Marlène (Marlène Schaff, editor’s note) told me at the castle, that I struggled with compliments. When someone told me something, I would respond, ‘Oh really? Are you sure?’ Sometimes just be quiet, say thank you, and move on. Now I’m getting better at it. But if I say no, it’s false modesty, and if I say yes, it’s arrogance.” Still plagued by doubt, Marine shares her thoughts in the reissue of her album, accompanied by seven unreleased tracks.
