On Thursday, March 20, students from the Cinema and Audiovisual option at Germaine Tillion high school presented their 8th edition of the CLAP session: Audiovisual Programming Classes, in collaboration with Vincent Choquet and Denys Clabaut from Véo Cinemas. The first and final year students debated and chose a film they wanted to show to the public, and their choice fell on “La Petite Dernière” (Hafsia Herzi, 2025), award-winning at Cannes and the Césars. The second year students then selected a short film that they believed complemented the main feature, which turned out to be the surprising “Mais pourquoi as-tu laissé le cheval à sa solitude?” (Faouzi Bensaïdi, 2023).

With over 40 spectators, this session confirms the success of this program, which is only 3 years old, offering both demanding and popular programming. The magic of cinema was felt by all with this intense film, allowing everyone to escape reality for a moment. It left no one indifferent and fits perfectly with this year’s theme of the option: encounters. The next CLAP session will be on Friday, May 29 in the evening, with a public and free screening of the year’s productions just before. Many are expected to attend!
