However, this year, Spain has decided not to participate in Eurovision. Therefore, in 2026, the “Big 5” becomes the “Big 4.” Additionally, the host country also advances directly to the final. Growing up between France and the United States, Monroe has a background in classical training but is known for his personal and contemporary music. Italy: Sal Da Vinci – “Per Sempre Sò”
Italy, part of the “Big 5,” has chosen Sal Da Vinci as its representative for Eurovision this spring with the song “Per Sempre Sò.” This Neapolitan singer-songwriter, also known for writing for Ornella Vanoni and Renato Zero, aims to bring victory to Italy after Måneskin’s win in 2021.
United Kingdom: Look Mum No Computer – “Eins, Zwei, Drei”
Look Mum No Computer, the stage name of Sam Battle, will represent the UK with the song “Eins, Zwei, Drei” this spring in Austria. Sam, an experimental singer-songwriter and inventor of unique musical machines, was previously part of the indie rock band ZIBRA before going solo. With a massive following on social media, Look Mum No Computer is set to compete at Eurovision with hopes of winning.
Austria: COSMO – “Tanzschein”
Austria, the reigning Eurovision champion, will be represented by COSMO this year with the song “Tanzschein.” COSMO, a Hungarian-born singer, grew up in Burgenland, Austria, and reached the finals of “The Voice Kids” in 2022. Intending to spread love through his music, COSMO aims to continue Austria’s Eurovision success.
