A few days after the death of Loana, details about the organization of her funeral have been revealed: two of her close associates will take care of all the preparations.
The tragic loss of the former reality TV icon continues to deeply affect the public. Found lifeless on March 25th at her residence in Nice, the star leaves behind grieving but determined loved ones to give her a dignified farewell. An unexpected mobilization has been put in place to orchestrate this final ceremony.
A gesture of solidarity Loana’s financial insecurity did not allow her to cover the costs of her own burial. Fortunately, the “Loft Story” family quickly responded. Producer Alexia Laroche-Joubert and former contestant Steevy Boulay decided to take on the full cost. On the W9 show “TBT9,” commentator Gilles Verdez revealed, “The ceremony will cost a little less than 4,000 euros.” While the deceased’s mother, Violette, oversees the operations, she relies on this unwavering support. “It is indeed Alexia and Steevy Boulay who are taking care of the funeral. Both of them are organizing everything,” said host Christine Bravo.
The funeral program: between public tribute and intimacy The long-awaited tribute will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in Nice, the city where she resided. To accommodate the numerous admirers wishing to pay their respects, an open mass is scheduled. Her friend Sylvie Ortega revealed on her Instagram account: “A mass will be held at the church in Nice open to the public. So that everyone can come and pay their final respects to her.” Following this religious service, the family will withdraw to bid their final farewells, as “the cremation will take place in the utmost intimacy,” confirmed the same source.
A life marked by hardship and isolation This tragedy sheds light on the profound distress that characterized the daily life of the 48-year-old icon. It turns out that Alexia Laroche-Joubert was already working in the background to protect her. “The apartment where she died in Nice is the one she has rented for two or three years. Otherwise, she would have been on the street,” the producer told Paris Match. An appalling loneliness, illustrated by the discovery of the body of her faithful dog, Titi, lying by her side, her last true companion.
The autopsy findings: the hypothesis of an accidental fall The star’s body was returned to her loved ones on March 31, 2026, marking the end of the initial forensic examinations. The involvement of a third party has been ruled out by investigators. The public prosecutor’s statement in Nice highlights a “superficial scalp wound” as well as marks “consistent with the hypothesis of a fall to the ground.”
We now await toxicological analysis to determine if a sudden medical condition caused this tragic accident.
