Loana Petrucciani, better known by her first name, was found dead on March 25, 2026 at her home in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), at the age of 48. The announcement of her death caused a shock in the media world, especially in the reality TV sector.

A week later, doctors revealed new details about the circumstances of her death during her autopsy, which were transmitted by the judicial court of Nice on March 31, 2026.

Doctors confirmed through medical examinations that Loana had “a superficial scalp wound compatible with a fall from body height to the ground” and “small bruises on the back, lumbar region, and buttocks compatible with the hypothesis of a fall on the ground”, according to the public prosecutor.

Furthermore, the involvement of a third party, which was initially suggested, was ruled out by forensic doctors who found no signs of violent blows, strangulation, or grabbing.

At this stage, the exact cause of Loana’s death is not yet determined, and it could be of medical or toxicological origin. Further analysis of samples will help clarify the hypothesis of a toxicological cause of death. Her body has been released to her family.

Loana had been deceased for several days when she was discovered lifeless at around 6 p.m. on March 25, 2026 by firefighters, who were alerted by a concerned neighbor. The winner of the first season of “Loft Story” in 2001 was “evidently deceased for several days”, as stated by the public prosecutor, who also noted that her dog was found dead as well.

Loana had lived with other contestants for ten weeks, 24/7 under the cameras of M6, in the first reality TV show aired in France, which inspired the series “Culte” on Prime Video in 2024. She gradually distanced herself from the show business world due to violence, health issues, and multiple suicide attempts.
