While Paris remains the refuge of some celebrities, many prefer to move away. For this, one of the preferred regions is Provence. It must be said that the sun and the quality of life are major assets. Among the list of personalities who have chosen this life far from the hustle and bustle of the French capital, we count Samuel Le Bihan. And he seems to be living a true waking dream.
A fulfilling life in the South for Samuel Le Bihan
So, it is in Nice, on the French Riviera, that the actor has settled. And if he has chosen to make this place his home, it is also for professional reasons. He is the lead in the TF1 series called Carpe Diem which takes place in the region.
And it’s safe to say that the actor is over the moon. “It’s a sweet and pleasant city,” he declared in an interview with Nous Deux, as reported by Gala.
This has allowed him to find meaning away from Paris. “I know why I work: I work to create happiness. I couldn’t do it in Paris. It is a real priority to create happiness,” he explained to France Bleu.
He continued: “I know why I work, I know why I live in the South, I know why I chose this place for the light, to recharge, so I can go anywhere in the world and I know I have a place.“
An exceptional living environment
Thus, in Nice, Samuel Le Bihan can enjoy a magnificent villa in the Provençal style. But it is not just his property with a pool that fulfills him: “It’s my house but when I come back I will feel good in an environment, a landscape, where I have friends,” he said.
He therefore enjoys a setting that he appreciates on a daily basis, and this reflects in his work. “We have beautiful studios, Victorine, the mountain, the entire French Riviera, we have the fifth largest city in France, an old town, we have an incredible choice of settings and I wanted to shoot here to shoot at home. And then, to benefit from these magnificent sets,” he revealed to Nice Matin in an interview published in Le Journal de la maison.
Additionally, he can enjoy all the wonders that Provence brings him with his daughter. They both share a love for the seaside. He emphasized to Ouest France: “My daughter, her element, is the water. And for me, the sea is my DNA.”
One can say that Samuel Le Bihan is aware of his luck to live in such a paradise and he does not seem ready to leave it.
