On Friday, April 10, the Ruthenoise association is organizing a classical music concert for Easter. It will be the first of its five annual events.
For the first of its five annual events, the Affetti nostri association, founded in 2013 by former residents of the Conservatoire de l’Aveyron, will take place at the Royal Chapel on Place Foch.
This classical music concert will take place on Friday, April 10, starting at 8:30 pm, and will focus on Easter, “which the greatest musicians have addressed through ‘Stabat Mater’ (the mother who mourns her child) including the most famous ones by Pergolesi and Dvorak,” explained Chantal Renoult, the association’s president.
For this event, Affetti nostri offers a rich program: the interpretation of “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Théodore Dubois and church scenes in operas Tosca, Trovatore, Faust, and Cavaliera rusticana. The pieces will be performed by musicians (piano, cello, violin, double bass, and organ), by the Voces Collium choir from Toulouse directed by Simon Siaud, and by soprano Fifaliana Miakajato and the guest of honor, tenor Claude Minich.
Tickets can be purchased on the HelloAsso page of Affetti nostri. It costs 15 euros for a reserved seat in advance, 8 euros for children under 12, and 18 euros for an adult ticket purchased on the evening of the concert.
