On March 28, at 4 pm, the Culture and Heritage Association of Fontenay-Torcy (Oise) is organizing a conference-debate led by Jacques Treiner.
This meeting will be held in the community hall and will focus on the theme: “How do humans regulate the climate and what to do?”
A conference every quarter
This event is part of a series of events organized by the association throughout the year, once per quarter.
Each conference will address different current topics or those related to society.
Throughout the year, once per quarter, the association will explore different themes of our society.
4th edition of “Book in the Countryside”
On June 14, the 4th edition of the “Book in the Countryside” Fair will take place outdoors in the village square.
This year, around thirty authors representing various literary genres, such as poetry, children’s literature, crime fiction, and novels, will be present.
A spelling competition is scheduled at 10:30 am.
The participant with the best performance will be rewarded with a book signed by one of the invited authors.
At 3 pm, the classical music group “Tempo Giusto” will perform a concert.
A “quiet reading area” will be set up under the washhouse for book lovers. A refreshment stand will also be available for visitors.
