Lewis Hamilton is very active on the track, but he is also focusing on developing his activities outside of Formula 1. The seven-time world champion has revealed his ambitions for the next five years for his production company, Dawn Apollo Films, including the continuation of “F1 the Film” and several other ongoing projects.

The F1 film was recently recognized during awards season, winning an Oscar for best sound. With a global success exceeding $630 million at the box office, a sequel now seems inevitable.

During the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Hamilton confirmed that work is well underway on this second film.

“I am setting up something called Apollo, a production company that I have created,” he explained.

“We are currently working on the second screenplay. We had the first meetings about it in the middle of last year, and we already have a first draft of the direction we want to take. But it will take some time.”

In addition to this highly anticipated sequel, the Ferrari driver confirmed that he is developing several other projects, demonstrating an ambitious long-term strategy.

“I also have other things in the works,” he continued. “I have several scripts that I am trying to finalize, stories that I have imagined myself or ideas that I have had. There should be a TV series. There will also be at least one documentary.”

Hamilton emphasizes that this roadmap is part of a medium-term vision, with a gradual rollout of these projects.

“All of this will take place over the next five years, I would say.”
