The Agissez dans votre ville organization presents the 14th edition of the Hispanic cinema festival Hispanorama from April 4 to 10, 2026 at the Croisée des Arts cinema in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume.

The 2026 selection reflects the current state of Spanish and Latin American cinema, showcasing the concerns of filmmakers in difficult times. The festival aims to reach a wide audience, including students from local schools. This year’s Hispanorama festival will feature around fifteen Spanish and Latin American films, including premieres, exclusives, feature films, documentaries, guest appearances by directors, producers, and specialists, as well as animations, meetings, and debates.

As in previous years, a classic film will be screened and the festival will conclude with a session of short films. Thanks to the close collaboration with Spanish teachers at the Maurice-Janetti high school in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, students, especially those in the “Spanish” section, are involved in the festival’s organization, creating the poster and trailer through contests, and presenting films in bilingual format.

Prices: 1 ticket: 5.50 €, 5-film pass: 22.50 €, 10-film pass: 40 €.

In the opening of the festival, an exhibition on the Mayas of Guatemala and contemporary artists from Lake Atitlán will be held from March 27 to April 15, 2026 in the exhibition hall of the Croisée des Arts. The vibrant and colorful works, created by 6 indigenous artists, express the traditions, daily life, and beliefs of the communities, blending Maya cultural heritage with the modernity of evolving art.

A concert by MANDY LEROUGE, “DEL CERRO”, will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 9 p.m. at the Croisée des Arts in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, marking the opening of the 14th Hispanorama Hispanic cinema festival presented by the Agissez dans votre ville association.
