The weekend of March 21 and 22 was filled with emotions as two regional team titles and 4 individual podiums were secured by the Sport Gym Montarn in the UFOLEP final for level 7 categories in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. The club was represented by two teams in different age categories. On Saturday, the level 7 team (11-14 years old) began the competition with determination. Imane M’Chita, the club’s technical director, was ecstatic: “Thanks to solid performances, the gymnasts were able to stand out and clinch the regional championship title, finishing in first place in their category out of 7 participating teams.” A remarkable performance that allows them to approach the rest of the season with ambition. The next day, the youngest members of the level 7 team (7-11 years old) took the stage. “They, in turn, had a very good competition, showing great skill.” After their routines, they also ended up in first place in their category (out of 14 teams), confirming the club’s positive momentum.

On Saturday, Lou Cals Senecot stood out by becoming regional champion, while Léna Tex achieved a very respectable second place (out of 39 gymnasts). On Sunday, Ela Prouget won a silver medal and Louise Moioli won a bronze medal in their category (out of 76 participating gymnasts).

“These results reflect the consistent work of the gymnasts, their dedication, and the support of the club,” concluded Imane. The Sport Gym Montarn can be proud of its gymnasts who are now looking towards the national finals.
