Isabelle Piron exhibits at CIS Lamourelle until May 3.

In Carcassonne, CIS Lamourelle is preparing to welcome the exhibition “Intimate Gardens” by Isabelle Piron from March 26 to May 3, closing the cultural cycle “Entrelacer” dedicated to female artists and textile art.

The textile as a common thread of a sensitive commitment

Through Intimate Gardens, Isabelle Piron celebrates beauty and the feminine universe, offering the public sensitive and deeply singular works.

The artist from Sète will be present at the opening on Thursday, March 26 at 6 pm. She will unveil a delicate and powerful universe, where the thread tells much more than the material. Since 2012, she has been exploring textile as a language, blending female anatomy and the plant world. Her embroideries, especially her series of “breasts,” celebrate the diversity of bodies and life paths.

With “Entrelacer,” CIS Lamourelle offers more than just a series of exhibitions: a true cultural weaving, between textile creations, conferences, and poetic readings, all carried by contemporary female perspectives.

Exhibition from March 26 to May 3. Daily from 9 am to 6 pm. CIS Lamourelle, 20 avenue Pierre Sémard in Carcassonne.
