We, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom, along with the High Representative of the European Union, express our support for our partners in the Middle East in the face of unjustifiable attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies.

In line with United Nations Security Council resolution 2817, we strongly condemn the irresponsible attacks carried out by the Iranian regime against civilian populations and infrastructure, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Oman. The unjustifiable attacks by the Iranian regime on these countries also pose a threat to regional and international security. We call for the immediate and unconditional cessation of all attacks by the Iranian regime. We reaffirm the importance of preserving maritime routes and navigation security, especially in the Strait of Hormuz and all associated waterways, as well as the security and stability of energy supply chains and markets. We stand ready to take all necessary measures to support global energy supply, such as the release of strategic oil reserves by members of the International Energy Agency on March 11.

The G7 consistently states that Iran must never obtain nuclear weapons, and it must stop its ballistic missile program, cease its destabilizing activities in the region and worldwide, and put an end to the repression and heinous violence against its own people.

We support the right of countries unjustifiably attacked by Iran or its proxies to defend their territory and protect their citizens. We reaffirm our unwavering support for their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

We condemn the shameful attacks by Iran and its militias in Iraq against diplomatic facilities and energy infrastructure, particularly in the Kurdish region of Iraq, as well as against American troops, coalition forces against Daesh, and the Iraqi population.
