Having won the first round against four candidates with 57.33% this Sunday, March 15th in La Ciotat, Alexandre Doriol (DVD) was able to comfortably resume the position of mayor. Deputy delegate for urban planning in 2014 under the late Patrick Boré (LR), he was appointed as first deputy in 2020. Then Arlette Salvo replaced the former mayor who left for the Senate. Finally, she stepped down in June 2023 for the current mayor. This was Alexandre Doriol’s first election as a list leader, and he won it hands down.
What do you think of the campaign results?
It is the result of 30 months of relentless personal investment. I have said it before, it is also a sum of personal sacrifices, which the people of La Ciotat have duly acknowledged. And through this score, I am both honored and obliged to a culture of results. Our project was summarized in two words: city-making. And city-making had to be a clear goal for the people of La Ciotat. We wanted to bring together without social or territorial conditions around a program, and it was recognized by our fellow citizens.
