Despite a capricious weather, the Social Truck managed to bring together residents and partners on Wednesday, March 11, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Quai Tournefeuille. The rain did not discourage visitors who came to enjoy the activities offered in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Designed as a mobile space for meetings and exchanges, the Social Truck once again fulfilled its mission: to meet residents and promote social connections at the heart of neighborhoods. Both young and old participated in a variety of activities ranging from discovery, practice, and awareness.

Highlights of the afternoon included a movement session by the company R.A.M.A focusing on body expression, inviting the public to explore gesture and feeling. Both adults and children could try climbing thanks to the Le Tag association of Tournefeuille, while a capoeira initiation brought a rhythmic and dynamic touch to the event. Nature enthusiasts also had a gardening workshop led by the association Partageons les Jardins, focusing on planting nasturtium and tomato seeds. Additionally, the library set up activities outside its walls with a selection of books for all ages and previewed upcoming events.

A general knowledge quiz, organized by AFEV and the Social Truck, also allowed children to test their knowledge in a fun atmosphere and enjoy some well-deserved crepes. Several organizations like OPH31 and Caf were present to inform and interact with residents.

Following this success, the Social Truck will continue its tour in the coming months with new stops planned in June, September, October, and November in different neighborhoods of the city, confirming its role as a proximity tool in the service of social connections.
