Following his injury against Paris FC on the last day of Ligue 1, Ballon d’Or 2025 winner Ousmane Dembélé reassured supporters that he will be fit for the Champions League final on May 30.

According to a recent interview with RMC Sport, the French player expressed confidence in his recovery after the injury and affirmed that he will be ready to play against Arsenal in the final.

A precautionary exit against Paris FC

Throughout his career, Dembélé has learned to listen to his body and manage episodes wisely: “I have had so many small alerts or big injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with big occasions coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and not take any risks,” explained the former player of Stade Rennais and FC Barcelona.

These statements align with the club’s stance since Sunday. With Dembélé’s assurance, PSG supporters can breathe a sigh of relief, as their joint top scorer across all competitions (19 goals, tied with Kvaratskhelia) should be able to help the Parisian club achieve a historic double in the Champions League.
