Gathered in a section assembly, the activists of the Lescure-d’Albigeois socialist party unanimously elected Robin Cot as their new section secretary. This election testifies to the collective desire to continue and strengthen the dynamic initiated within the local section. With around twenty activists, the socialist section of Lescure-d’Albigeois stands out for its commitment and involvement in local political life. Active on the ground, it participates fully in electoral campaigns and public debates, promoting the values of social justice, solidarity, secularism and equality. In a political context marked by the progression of far-right ideas, the section reaffirms its determination to defend republican values and to firmly combat these positions on the territory.
