The scene took an unexpected turn in Cavaillon, in the Vaucluse. A 42-year-old man was arrested on Friday after showing up at the police station to pick up his minor son, according to France Bleu.
It all started on Wednesday, March 18, when the 13-year-old boy was caught drawing Nazi symbols in the bathrooms of the communal cemetery. A resident alerted the authorities, who arrested the young boy and placed him in custody. Legal proceedings have been initiated, with a hearing scheduled in the coming months.
Violence, harassment, and identity theft
Summoned as a parent, the father went to the police station two days later. During the identity check, the police discovered that he was wanted in connection with two separate cases. Two ex-partners had filed complaints against him, one for violence and the other for allegations of harassment, identity theft, and the distribution of pornographic images.
