In his early twenties, Pierre Boileau-Roussel has been appointed as the new chief of staff to Fleurance mayor Gregory Bobbato. Boileau-Roussel’s background in geopolitics and experience with the Olympics will serve the town of Fleurance.
Originally from Béziers in a Toulouse family, Boileau-Roussel’s academic journey focused on territorial and geopolitical issues. After obtaining a degree in social and political geography of territorial development from Bordeaux-Montaigne University, he continued with a master’s degree in geopolitics at Paris-VIII University and also received a university diploma in crisis management from Paris-Sorbonne.
Boileau-Roussel worked with the National Coordination for Security for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games before joining the Fleurance town hall, where he was involved in organizing the Olympic torch relay. He emphasizes the importance of territories and the people who contribute to their livelihood.
“My role is to ensure effective coordination so that projects progress in a constructive spirit,” he explains. He also supports newly elected officials in their roles and contributes to the organization of municipal communication with Morgane Leclercq, who recently joined the town hall. Boileau-Roussel also manages the mayor’s schedule.
Despite being prepared in just a few days, the May 8 ceremony reflected this collaboration. People watched from windows as the parade moved from the town hall to the war memorial. The presence of singers Philippe Candelon and Jeanne Rottier, along with schools, teachers, and children, added a unique dimension to the commemoration, praised for its quality and dignity.
