Referee for Premier League semi-final between OL Lyonnes and Nantes announced

We now know the referee for the Premier League semi-final match between OL Lyonnes and Nantes on Saturday at 6pm. It will be Romy Fournier.

May is proving to be an intense month for the players of OL Lyonnes. After defeating PSG in the Coupe de France final (4-1), they are still in the running for a fantastic quadruple. In a little over a week, on May 23, they will travel to Oslo to face FC Barcelona in the Champions League final. The team will be aiming to win a trophy they haven’t held since 2022.

Fifth match officiated by OL Lyonnes this season

But first, the focus is on the championship. Having comfortably secured their first place spot, Jonatan Giraldez’s team is preparing to face fourth-placed FC Nantes in the play-off semi-finals. The match will take place on Saturday at 6pm at the Parc OL. Romy Fournier, 33 years old, will be the referee for the fifth time this season for the Lyon team. She previously officiated in the Coupe de France against Saint-Etienne (6-0) and Marseille (5-1), as well as in the Premier League against Strasbourg (5-0) and Fleury (3-0).

Assisting her will be Claire Dewost and Sarah Degage, with Morgane Chignard as the fourth official, and Dominique Julien and Emeline Rochebilière in charge of the VAR. This tool will be used for the first time in the Premier League for the final phase.

If they qualify, Wendie Renard’s teammates will face either Paris FC or PSG in the final on Friday, May 29 at 9pm.
