The football community in Haute-Garonne is in mourning. Tim Savini, the goalkeeper of the U15 team of A.S. Lafitte-Vigordane, tragically passed away on May 2 at the age of 14, due to a cardiac arrest at his home. This tragedy has deeply affected his loved ones, the club, and the regional football community. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances of his death.

The Haute-Garonne District of Football expressed its immense sorrow in a statement following the news of this sudden loss. “The President, officials, staff, and the entire family of Haute-Garonne football offer their sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones, teammates, coaches, and the entire Lafitte-Vigordane club,” the departmental body wrote, honoring the memory of a young football enthusiast, a teammate, and a friend taken too soon. Within the A.S. Lafitte Vigordane club, the emotions are still overwhelming. His loss has created a significant void in the hearts of all those who shared his daily life on and off the field. In this terrible ordeal, the leaders, coaches, and volunteers extend their condolences to his family, loved ones, and all of his teammates.

A solidarity fund has also been set up by A.S.L.V, with the proceeds to be given to his family. Since the tragic event, messages of support have been pouring in on social media, including from Toulouse FC towards the family and the Haute-Garonne club. An additional tribute will be paid this Sunday during the match between A.S. Lafitte Vigordane and Carbonne, scheduled for 3:00 PM at the Gerard Bendichou stadium.
