The association Horizon Culture held its annual general meeting on Saturday, March 14, at the Robert-Henry cultural complex (Espace Benedetti). This meeting took place alongside the concert “U2 Revolution” scheduled for the evening, symbolizing the dynamism of the organization.

The president, Christelle Bouvenet, opened the session by presenting the moral report. Thierry Ponce, mayor, and Corinne Collier, deputy mayor, were present on behalf of the municipality. Christelle Bouvenet warmly thanked the officials for their trust and financial support provided. This municipal grant allows the association to manage expenses such as printing the seasonal booklet, catering for artists, communication in the local newspaper “jhm quotidien” (in addition to the city’s communication), online publications, as well as transportation and accommodation costs for speakers. Artist fees and technical services are covered by the City’s cultural budget.

The results for the past season were positive. The association achieved success with full houses for Jonathan Dassin, the National Circus of Ukraine, and the theater productions “Vive les vacances ou pas” and “Tout va très bien”, culminating in the concert “Morphine sings Indochine”.

Financially, Horizon Culture shows a positive balance. The financial report was unanimously approved by the attending members.

Several changes were made to the board of directors during the meeting. Jeanine Renard stepped down as secretary, and David Dorange took over, supported by Johann Raclot as deputy secretary, while Christelle Bouvenet remained as president. The annual membership fee has increased from 5 to 10 euros.

Upcoming events include a theater production of “Le Prénom” performed by Jean-Luc Lemoine and Cartman on Sunday, March 29, at 3:30 pm, and a concert by Jérémy Frérot on Saturday, April 18, at 8:30 pm.

The meeting concluded with the traditional toast of friendship, confirming the friendly atmosphere within the team.
