The arrival of spring in Plouzané is highlighted by a new edition of the “Printemps de la musique”, from Saturday, March 21 to Saturday, March 28, 2026. Established by the municipal music school (EMM) in 2012, these moments allow reaching a very wide audience.

“Promoting Music in All its Forms” “The goal is to promote music in all its forms and aspects by allowing it to be broadcasted outside our walls, including in schools. The teachers and students of the EMM will present different instruments (cello, violin, accordion, etc.), their sounds, and musicality,” said Stéphane Bigot, director of the EMM.

The 10th anniversary of the Souffl’Iroise clarinet ensemble The Printemps de la musique will be the opportunity to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the EMM’s Souffl’Iroise clarinet ensemble, under the artistic direction of their teacher, Édith Lucasse. To mark this anniversary, the EMM invites several great clarinet personalities for a program that promises to be sumptuous and festive. “Alexis Ciesla (composer and performer), Jean-Claude Madoni, conductor of Souffle d’Ebène, and soloists Laurent Boulanger and Thierry Besnard will be part of it. Former students will also play at two concerts, held in Guilers (Saturday, March 21, 8:30 pm) and Plouzané (March 22, 5 pm),” said Édith Lucasse, who will be conducting.

From Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27, at 7 pm, EMM students, for some of whom it will be their first performance in front of an audience, will perform during musical events.

Contemporary music to conclude On Saturday, March 28, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, the EMM will open its doors to the public. Then, the media library will host a musical event at 4:30 pm, before a concert at 5 pm at the François-Mitterrand cultural center, featuring the accordion ensemble. Finally, the cultural and musical event will conclude with a focus on contemporary music.
