On the last day of the championship, the Jeunesse Sportive de Touget (JST) traveled to Aubiet for a match with no real stakes, but approached with seriousness. From the start, Touget set the pace. A right-side opening saw Touget heading towards goal, but the shot missed the target. The pressure continued: a left-side combination put the local defense in difficulty, Zanchetta crossed the ball in front of goal, but Villamot failed to finish.
Aubiet reacted by playing long. On an innocuous play, a cross from the left surprised the entire Touget defense. The local attacker wasted no time in opening the score. 1-0 at halftime.
Upon returning from the break, the game became choppy, with mistakes and fouls in the midfield.
Relief came in the 70th minute: Zanchetta sent Coucke deep, stopped irregularly in the area. The penalty was converted by Villamot.
Boosted by the equalizer, JST pushed on. Coucke missed a one-on-one, then Villamot broke free and crossed for Zanchetta, whose header hit the crossbar.
Final score: 1-1. JST finishes 4th with 24 points and will play in D2 next season.
