Pélissanne Culture Tradition brings together two entities (culture and tradition) that allow for various events to be gathered and combined for a popular audience… During the general assembly, the handover of power at the helm of the association took place.

Chantal Pizoard, who presided with dedication, was congratulated by the mayor, Pascal Montécot, for her work done with the entire board and volunteers. Nicolas Trouvé was unanimously elected as the new president of the association and Mathieu Cristol as vice-president.

They will be supported by a strong team with certainly new ideas for the summer season. While waiting for new creations in terms of entertainment, the month of May is also synonymous with major festive events.

Transhumance on May 14 and Flower Parade on May 31

Firstly, on Thursday, May 14, as tradition dictates, the transhumance will ring the bells of goats and bucks through the village. The traditional dances of the Lou Pelican group will lead the way for this procession, which will start at 11 a.m. from Place Carbadel to Parc St Martin.

On Saturday, May 23, the Adventure Raid will move towards the retention basin. On Sunday, May 31, the Flower Parade will finally appear to the delight of the people of Pélissanne and others who have been waiting for this first outing. Among the new features, there is also a reggae concert on May 29 at Moulin des Costes, offering music lovers a moment of sharing and musical nostalgia…
