The U11 of Entente Jeunesse astaracaise (EJA) took part in the U11 challenge at the Auch racecourse on Sunday. The first match ended in a 0-0 draw against Vic, followed by a narrow 2-1 defeat to Gimont. After the lunch break, the team bounced back with a 4-1 victory against Sainte-Christie-Preignan. The U11 then suffered losses in the last 2 games: 1-0 against L’Isle-Jourdain, the eventual challenge winner, and 2-1 against Eauze. EJA finished in 10th place.
The U9 were in a tournament last Saturday on the synthetic pitch of L’Isle-Jourdain. Two teams were involved at the D2 level. One team won 3 games and drew one, while the other had tougher results in the morning. The learning process continues, and the good spirits and listening skills of this generation are commendable.
The cup journey ends for the U15 in the Gers cup. Indeed, in the semi-final, the U15 players fought bravely but lost to Auch 3 goals to 2. They were quickly caught off guard from the 6th minute, then Seissan equalized before Auch scored again a minute later. Noa scored a brace within half an hour, creating suspense. Auch scored a third goal before halftime and maintained their lead until the end.
