Rihanna is a fashion icon. Every aspect of her style, clothes, and hairstyles is closely scrutinized. So when it comes to a tattoo, a permanent mark on the skin: it’s even more significant. Each tattoo of the Barbadian singer is an event: the star on the ear, the Maori tattoo on the hand, or the falcon on the foot… This time, the star has decided to trust artists she knows well: her children!
Rihanna Definitely has her children in her skin
In a video posted on the Instagram account of the New York tattoo artist, Rihanna is seen getting tattooed on the back of her leg, near the knee. Keith McCurdy is busy reproducing very specific designs and patterns… because they are simply the scribbles of “Riri’s” children: RZA, 4 years old, Riot, 2 and a half years old, and Rocki, 8 months old. No, you’re not dreaming, Rocki has officially become an artist at the age of eight months: now that’s a resume.
In the video, it can be seen that the tattoo artist’s model is nothing but a paper, with three scribbles and small stickers of “Paw Patrol.” There’s no doubt that RZA, Riot, and Rocki love the animated show. However, don’t worry, the dogs from the series are not part of the tattoo, even though the creators of the show would surely have been thrilled to see Rihanna become one of their muses.
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were in New York to attend, as almost every year, the MET Gala. Rihanna wore a Margiela dress designed by Belgian creator Glenn Martens, inspired by the medieval architecture of the Belgian Flanders. The couple is very involved in the fashion world. Both have been faces of the Dior brand, with Rihanna still being one, while the rapper was named ambassador of Chanel in December 2025.
The couple’s decision to protect the children
With this new tattoo, Rihanna once again shows that she doesn’t care about social norms and pays a beautiful tribute to her three children. If last year, she announced during the MET Gala that she was pregnant with a third child, there was no such announcement this year.
On March 8th, the couple was the target of a shooting at their Los Angeles villa. The criminal, Lisette Ortiz, fired “about ten shots in broad daylight at the property from her car,” according to the Los Angeles police. “An assault rifle and seven shells” were found in Lisette Ortiz’s car, who is facing life in prison. Fortunately, none of the family members were injured. However, on May 10th, for the safety of the children, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky decided to leave the house. And who knows, the couple could find another place to stay… maybe in the Vosges!
