Les PréAmballes launch festivities with Loire Forez Agglo
In 2006, for the 10th anniversary, 10 communes hosted 10 shows leading up to the festival, Les PréAmballes. This partnership with 52 communes has spanned 20 years. Officially recognized by the community interest, Les PréAmballes are supported by Loire-Forez Agglomeration.
Julien Degout, vice-president in charge of culture, emphasizes: “LFA supports and accompanies structuring projects with strong impact. The agglomeration has positioned itself for this decentralization of cultural action across its entire territory, in rural villages with less than 3,000 inhabitants.”
Three companies on five dates
The festival’s co-president, Martin Guillot, concludes, “Maintaining accessible culture in rural areas is now a strong statement. Les Monts de la Balle is above all a human, collective adventure deeply rooted in its territory.”
Les PréAmballes 2026 features three companies on five dates:
- Saturday, May 16, Lézigneux, Place du 19-Mars-1962 at 6:30 PM, Cie Kbestan with “Filobal”, a show of juggling, acrobatics, and music.
- Monday, May 18, Marols, the village at 6:30 PM and Tuesday, May 19, La Côte-Saint-Didier, Place Fournet Fayard at 6:30 PM – circus by Cie Lombric Spaghettis with “Sur les rails.”
- Wednesday, May 20, Chazelles-sur-Lavieu, the village at 6:30 PM and Thursday, May 21, Veauchette, school courtyard at 6:30 PM – Cie Les Barjes with “Joe & Joe.”
