Mysterious videos of black objects speeding along, representations of flying vessels, and testimonies of unexplained lights—these are some of the previously unpublished documents released by the U.S. Department of Defense at the request of Donald Trump, who is fascinated by this subject.
The files published online on Friday, May 8, concerning unidentified abnormal phenomena, also known as UFOs, will be gradually made public “in the spirit of complete transparency”, as stated by the Pentagon. This publication allows the general public to “form their own opinion about the information contained in these records”, the Pentagon added.
The files include government documents dating back to the 1940s, images taken during lunar missions, transcripts of astronauts, copies of eyewitness testimonies and newspaper clippings, as well as videos and representations of unexplained moving objects. Most of the files date back to before this year, although a video showing unidentified aircraft flying in an undisclosed location is dated January.
Here are some images extracted from these 160 documents published on a dedicated page on the Pentagon’s website.
