Despite a score that is still too heavy, the flagship team was defeated against a good team from Saint-Jean-du-Falga. The goal of this season, marked by a major staffing issue, is clear: to maintain their position in departmental division 1.

On Saturday, April 25th, FC Foix was defeated at home with a score of 4-1 against a strong team from ES Saint-Jean-du-Falga, in a match played with an excellent spirit and marked by quality refereeing.

In the first half, the visitors managed to take the lead by scoring three goals, putting the people of Foix in difficulty. However, the red and gold players never gave up. Just before halftime, Ammari, very active in the attacking front, allowed FC Foix to reduce the score and give hope to his team (3-1 at halftime).

In the second half, the people of Foix tried to get back into the game, but were gradually hindered by physical problems. In the 74th minute, ES Saint-Jean-du-Falga definitively sealed the match by scoring a fourth goal.

Despite the defeat, the very good spirit displayed by the players of FC Foix will be remembered, as they remained united and determined from start to finish.
