Sir Alex Ferguson, the most emblematic coach of Manchester United, was transported to the hospital an hour before the match against Liverpool on Sunday, May 3rd.

With 1500 matches, 895 victories, and 27 years at the helm of one of England’s most iconic clubs, Sir Alex Ferguson’s title as a “legend of Manchester United” is well-deserved. His impressive record includes 13 championships, 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, and 2 Champions League titles.

Despite retiring as a coach in 2013 and ending his ambassador contract with the club in 2024, the Scotsman remained a devout supporter of the Red Devils, never missing a home game.

Unfortunately, he was unable to attend the English derby between Manchester United and Liverpool on May 3rd. This crucial match could solidify the Red Devils’ position on the podium.

Reports indicate that Sir Alex Ferguson was evacuated from the stadium over an hour before kickoff as a precautionary measure due to feeling unwell. Medical professionals are optimistic about his condition and expect the 84-year-old to recover quickly with some rest.

It is worth noting that Sir Alex Ferguson had a brain hemorrhage in 2018, but he recovered after surgery. This previous health issue is not related to the incident during the match.
