This is the most anticipated event for fans of the interstellar saga. In mid-April, Disney unveiled the Paris program for the annual Star Wars Day celebration on May 4th, also known as “May The 4th Be With You,” a play on words referencing the Jedi Order’s iconic slogan. This will keep the enthusiasts excited until the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, the feature film following The Mandalorian series, on May 20th.

On April 30th, a King Jouet store completely transformed to reflect the Star Wars universe opened in the Halles district in Paris. Dark Vader, Stormtroopers, and lightsabers set the tone at the front of this pop-up store.

First customers entering on May 4th will receive invitations to preview the opening minutes of the upcoming film at the Grand Rex cinema the following day in the presence of the film’s team.

The first installment of the saga in cinema-concert across France

Still in theaters, Disney announced a concert tour titled Star Wars: A New Hope across France in March and April 2027. During 12 dates, fans can attend the screening of the first film in the original trilogy released in 1977, accompanied by an orchestra. Ticket prices are yet to be revealed. Ticket sales are set to open on May 4th at 10 am.

On the same day, the final episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars – Maul: Lord of the Shadows will be available on the platform.
