On Sunday, May 3, promises to be a special day of meetings, culture, and relaxation around the Saint Gabriel Chapel in Tarascon, exceptionally open to the public from 10am to 6pm. Residents and visitors are invited by the Friends of the Saint Gabriel Chapel association to enjoy a rich program combining music, heritage, and conviviality.
A highlight of the day, the “Luis et Rosa Music” concert at 3pm promises a musical interlude full of emotion. Singer Rosa Ines Villegas, guitarist Luis Pousa, and cellist Catherine Morrison will offer a repertoire blending Latin American classics and original compositions. Their musical universe, born from their meeting between the Cévennes and Avignon, invites you on a journey between the nostalgia of Latin American and Anglo-Saxon folklores. An intimate and poetic moment, accessible to all thanks to free participation.
The day will begin with the opening of the chapel at 10am, allowing everyone to freely discover the site. At 12:30pm, a picnic lunch will be held, allowing for a convivial moment with tables and benches provided. The afternoon will continue at 4pm with a guided tour of the chapel and its surroundings, ideal for better understanding the history and richness of the place. Additionally, the Association will be present throughout the day. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the recently published book (priced at 23 euros) and take advantage of this last opportunity to collect the 2026 bulletins included with membership.
