Sébastien Folin was born in 1970 in Antananarivo, on the island of Madagascar. He began his television career in the early 1990s by landing a small contract on Antenne Réunion. He hosted several shows, most of which were aimed at young adolescents or music enthusiasts. In 1993, he also started hosting the news on the same channel. It wasn’t until the year 2000 that he made his way to France and immediately became the news presenter for TF1, no less!
At the same time, he became the iconic host of “Vidéo Gag,” a humorous show that he co-hosted with Olivia Adriaco until 2008. After the show ended, he hosted various programs on other channels such as TMC and TV5 Monde. He joined France Télévisions in late 2009.
