On Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April 2026, the “Ciné Cité” association is offering two movie nights at the Planet’Ciné in Alençon (Orne), followed by discussions with the film teams.

The program includes sessions dedicated to raising awareness about autism and the journey of a child facing armed conflicts.

An evening focused on autism will take place on Monday 27th April at 8 pm in partnership with “Ornéode et Autisme Basse-Normandie.” Two films by Tarik Ben Salah will be screened: “Vulnérables” (52 minutes) tells the story of a young autistic man and the support provided after his disappearance, while “L’après-nous” (24 minutes) addresses concerns about the future of autistic people. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director and producer.

The following night, Tuesday 28th April at 8:30 pm, the audience can watch “Allah n’est pas obligé,” an animated film directed by Zaven Najjar. Based on Ahmadou Kourouma’s novel, the film follows Birahima on a journey from Guinea to Liberia, encountering child soldiers along the way. The screening will include a discussion with the screenwriter Karine Winczura.

Ticket prices are the same for both nights: €5.
