JERUSALEM (AP) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reveals that he received treatment for prostate cancer, marking his first public acknowledgment of the diagnosis. About a year and a half ago, he underwent prostate surgery. Later, his doctors detected and treated a small tumor with radiation therapy at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Hospital, a detail that was not previously disclosed. The 76-year-old leader stated that he delayed the announcement intentionally to avoid it coinciding with the tensions concerning Iran.
