San Vicente Bungalows, regarded as the most exclusive club in Los Angeles, is reportedly facing health issues, according to Page Six.
$10,000 is the amount that San Vicente Bungalows, a favorite club of stars like Taylor Swift in West Hollywood, allegedly offered to the employee who would report the colleague who placed a dead rat in the club. It is being described as an “act of sabotage.”
It is a curious development shaking the San Vicente Bungalows club in West Hollywood, among the most secretive and upscale establishments on the west coast. It boasts regular celebrity clientele such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Elon Musk, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez, and others.
The scandal involving a dead rat is just one of many incidents at the prestigious Hollywood club, which charges annual fees of nearly $5,000 for members over 35 years old.
Last week, Page Six reported that the establishment’s “event kitchen” had been temporarily closed due to alleged health violations, including the presence of insects, rodents, or birds, according to Los Angeles county health authorities.
In a statement, a spokesperson for San Vicente Bungalows responded that the space described as a “separate event kitchen” had been temporarily closed for renovation and had not been used to prepare or serve meals to customers during this period.
One thing is certain: if the scandal is embarrassing for one of LA’s most mysterious and popular venues, which is currently seeking a new owner to expand overseas, its appeal should remain unchanged for the thousands on the waiting list.
Problem with a rat… or not.
