Rodez was held to a draw by Laval (0-0) on Friday, April 24, for the 32nd matchday of Ligue 2.

Didier Santini, Rodez coach: “We knew we had three finals, we needed to try to bring back three points to put more pressure on our direct opponents, but it didn’t happen. We lacked rhythm in the first half, but we had a better second half, with plenty of opportunities to win. On one hand, going 18 matches without losing is incredible, but you always want to win. Laval played well by trying to break our rhythm, not giving us too much space. We lacked precision.”

Olivier Frapolli, Laval coach: “It’s a good point considering the match, because we didn’t create much, except at the start and end of the first half. We saw that we lacked freshness tonight. Rodez is a difficult team to play against. Sometimes when we attack, it’s almost as if we are the ones most in danger. In terms of how the match played out, it’s not a bad point, even though we wanted to win.”
