I had to be disciplined all these years: Sharon Stone reveals the secret of her perfect figure.

Sharon Stone may be a sexagenarian, but she remains very active in her daily life, which is evident in her body! Always slim and athletic, the American actress never fails to surprise Hollywood with her appearance that seems to defy time. Despite this, she claims to have never had cosmetic surgery since her 300 botox injections to repair damage caused by a massive stroke in 2001. Now she advocates for natural beauty and regular body maintenance.

In an interview with Vogue magazine, the star of Basic Instinct insists on her humility. She mentioned, “I am as neurotic and in as much hot water as anyone else! People often only see the retouched version of you in photos. But I’m not as fantastically perfect as people imagine! I’m not exceptional. I have dark circles under my eyes like everyone else,” she assured, admitting that she still follows a fairly strict training program.

A strict discipline for Sharon Stone

Aware that she works in a profession where physical appearance, especially for women, is crucial, Sharon Stone has established a very demanding fitness routine. She said, “I had to be disciplined all these years, and I still am, it’s like a tic,” she said before admitting that she had slightly deviated from her habits during the winter: “We had, here in Los Angeles, four months of awful weather, and I did nothing.”

But what does this effective routine consist of? “I train an hour and a half, five days a week, in my pool. I do underwater aqua aerobics exercises with two and a half kilo weights on each ankle and arm. It’s important to do these exercises below the surface level, to be fully in the water. When I finish my aquatic ‘ballet,’ I sit on the pool steps and do leg pedaling movements,” she explained passionately.

What about when Sharon Stone is filming?

Despite her age, Sharon Stone is regularly involved in film projects. But as she explains, she does not stop her routine during the long months of filming. “On set, between takes, I do all these old-fashioned gym stuff, you know, set-ups, bodybuilding exercises for the lower body, legs that can be done on a step, as well as push-ups, movements for the upper body. All those gestures that Jane Fonda taught us a hundred years ago and are still the best in the world, I continue to do all those things that work so well!” she concluded with a laugh.
