After the successful release of her first album “Hele” a year ago, 24-year-old singer Helena feels the need to take a break. Thrust into the spotlight and with a hectic schedule of projects, Helena now longs to reconnect with normal life. In an intimate interview with the magazine “Max,” she revealed, “I think I’m going to disappear for a year after the end of the tour.”
Far from giving up music, the artist has carefully planned this break with specific personal and artistic goals in mind. She plans to use this free time to improve her guitar and piano skills, essential for the writing of her future compositions. Her plans for this sabbatical year also include simpler desires, such as traveling, living with a host family, and even adopting a dog. Her fans can rest assured that this retreat will only come after a series of highly anticipated concerts. Helena will be present at festivals this summer before resuming her tour in the fall, culminating in a grand concert at the Adidas Arena in Paris on November 17.
In a related development, the soundtrack of the film “Juste une Illusion” has soared on streaming platforms. The latest film from directors Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, set in the nostalgic 80s, is a huge success in the French box office. The duo, who recently shared insights into the project on RTL2, have once again showcased their ability to select popular and impactful original soundtracks.
The buzz around the film has led to a surge in streaming numbers for the central song “Just an illusion” by Imagination, along with other classic tracks like “Eye in the Sky” by The Alan Parsons Project.
Singer-songwriter Jean-Louis Aubert is also experiencing a fruitful period, with global interest in his song “Hygiaphone” thanks to the series “The Boys,” and now his solo track “Juste une illusion” gaining traction due to the film’s success.
Legendary Texan rock band ZZ Top has extended their extensive world tour, named “The Big One!” after over half a century in the industry. Due to popular demand, they have added more concerts in North America for August and September, alongside an anticipated European tour. Fans in France can look forward to a special concert at the Adidas Arena in Paris on July 15.
