NiDCOM Boss Mourns US

    The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, expressed sorrow over the death of Dr Uzoma Nwaubani, a US-based physician who passed away during a medical mission in Abia State. In a statement released by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Director of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols, Dabiri-Erewa described the loss as significant for her family and Nigeria as a whole.

    Dabiri-Erewa noted that Dr. Nwaubani was a dedicated member of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), known for her commitment to giving back through medical missions and outreach programs. She offered prayers for comfort and strength for the bereaved family, friends, and ANPA members, asking for eternal rest for the deceased. Dr. Nwaubani was in Abia State for a medical mission organized by ANPA but tragically succumbed to a medical emergency despite efforts to save her.
