In view of the upcoming season, Olympique Lyonnais wants to strengthen its central defense. In this perspective, the Gones would have targeted a young Dutch talent.
Last summer, Ruben Kluivert signed for Lyon from the Portuguese club Casa Pia. The Dutch gem committed to OL for five years, until June 30, 2030, in a transfer estimated at €3.78 million.
One year later, OL could repeat this type of transfer. According to Transferfeed, the French club is tracking 23-year-old player Melayro Bogarde, who plays for Linz ASK in the Austrian league.
The right-back has a solid physique (around 72-78 kg) and is known for his ability to launch clean attacks. All this, along with his offensive versatility, as the talented player can also operate in a defensive midfield role.
Arriving at Linz ASK in July 2024, Melayro Bogarde is under contract until May 2028.
