As part of the 10 days of culture organized by Grenoble Alpes Métropole, the evening of April 18 promises a joyful and participative celebration! La Correspondance – Grenoble will host three free artistic proposals starting at 5:30 pm for an open, joyful, and participative evening, featuring street theater, music, and collective dance.

A place for creation and encounters, La Correspondance – Grenoble will transform into a true artistic playground on April 18. The goal is to offer the audience a progressive power ascent, from theatrical humor to festive atmosphere, with accessible and free formats.

    – 5:30 pm – “Roméo et Juliette sur les pavés”: Shakespeare in a burlesque version

The evening starts with a playful and generous street theater. Three actors take on Shakespeare’s famous tragedy to offer a humorous and rhythmic rewriting. They embody fifteen characters in a burlesque version of “Roméo et Juliette,” designed for outdoor performance and interaction with the audience.

A family-friendly show, suitable for ages 7 and up, focusing on energy and connection with the spectators.

    – 6:30 pm – “Le Bal de l’ouf”: an acoustic and popular ball

Next, it’s time for music with “Le Bal de l’ouf.” Three acoustic musicians take over the space to revive the spirit of popular balls, in a light and spontaneous form. The idea is to dance without artifice, rediscovering the simple pleasure of collective movement.

A public proposal, designed as a festive break between two highlights.

    – 8:30 pm – “BALATATA”: dance as a meeting ground

To close the evening, “BALATATA” invites the audience to join the dance. Between traditions and modernity, this collective creation offers an immersive experience where everyone can be part of the movement. An invitation to let go and share a common energy.

Registration is possible for those wishing to become “accomplices” of the show through the CCN de Grenoble website.

    – A free and open evening for all

All three events are free and open, reflecting the spirit of the 10 days of culture: making creation accessible to as many people as possible, in lively and friendly formats.
