At the beginning of the month, young DJ Axel Marmey from Ariège had an hour of airtime dedicated to him on Fun Radio’s show “The After” hosted by Alex Voce and Matt. This experience left a mark on Axel, as he expressed, “I had a blast.”
“It was a very beautiful experience,” said the young Ariège artist after his appearance on Fun Radio in early April. The show allows resident DJs from nightclubs to host an hour of airtime. “Alex Voce and Matt were very welcoming and gave me positive feedback on my performance. I received numerous messages from both people I know and strangers. I did not expect to receive so many comments,” Axel Marmey mentioned. Naturally, Axel, who frequently DJs at N’Joy in Pamiers, Ariège, also anticipates professional opportunities coming his way.
Axel added, “I have had contacts nationally and internationally, and it’s a big plus on my CV.” He hopes this opportunity will open new doors for him, especially before the summer season, which will likely take him to Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales regions. However, Axel quickly points out that nothing is confirmed yet. He intends to stay in touch with the show’s team and hopes to DJ for the national radio station again. In the meantime, his schedule for the upcoming weeks is packed with around 75 confirmed dates in France and Spain.
