Kylian Boyer, 19 years old, is looking for a company to complete his apprenticeship. He has three months left to find a place. Despite sending 200 resumes, he is still without a solution.
This young student had a promising start. He had found a company for his two years of training. After completing a vocational baccalaureate in Digital System Networks, he enrolled in a BTS CIEL (Cybersecurity, IT and Networks, Electronics) in apprenticeship. He had a very successful first year with good academic results.
Unfortunately, his hosting company reorganized the IT department and had to terminate his contract in January. Since then, Kylian Boyer has been on a race against time: over 200 applications, calls, networking, France Travail, local missions. He has also been getting support from Cindy Millien in Monistrol-sur-Loire, a training specialist who has been helping him in his search since February. Despite his enhanced motivation and acquired skills, the student finds himself without a company now.
“I remain very motivated.”
“I am looking in Haute-Loire, Loire, and Rhône. If I don’t find an apprenticeship before July 12th, I won’t be able to validate my first year or continue to the second year. However, I remain very motivated and ready to give 200% in a new company, whether it’s in networks, cybersecurity, IT maintenance, or development.”
A common issue faced by many young people
With companies sometimes overwhelmed with requests or specific sectors with limited opportunities, Kylian Boyer, like other motivated young people, struggles to find a hosting company.
