The Bergerac Périgord Football Club has been selected to participate in the “Gothia Special Olympics Trophy”, offering a unique experience this summer in Gothenburg, Sweden. This event is one of the world’s largest gatherings of inclusive football. It will be an extraordinary adventure for ten young players, highlighting the club’s strong commitment to sports for all. An international selection will be representing France from July 11 to 17, 2026, at the renowned Gothia Cup, considered the largest international youth football tournament. This competition provides young people with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to have an international sports experience, promoting inclusivity and sharing.
